The workflow can consist of the following steps:
- Person A creates and shares an app with Person B (Can edit app).
- Person B copies this app into his/her team (account) and is then able to edit and distribute the app. (Copy app)
or
- Person A is a member of an Enterprise Team and wants to copy the app into the Enterprise Team.

Rights of use
In addition to the normal "use" access to the app on the end device, apps can be shared with other people so that they can also access and/or change the app configuration in the web portal. Here the person can receive additional rights so that there are three possibilities for cooperation. Please be advised that the right to see the app configuration or to edit the app configuration can only be given to Team Members and not Guests:
-
Can use the app:
- The invited person can use the app on the client. (Classic invitation to an app.)
-
Can see app configuration:
- The invited person can use the app on the client.
- The app appears in the portal of the invited person in the "My apps" view.
There, the app can be opened like an own one, with the difference that it can only be viewed and not edited, copied, or shared with other people. Also, the list of users of this app is not visible to the invited person.
-
Can edit app:
- The invited person can use the app on the client.
- The app appears in the person's portal in the "My apps" view.
The invitee can edit the app.
The app remains in the creator's account so the invitees cannot change all settings.
This concerns, for example, the access/user management to this app. The invited person cannot invite more users to the app or see existing users. - The invitee can make a copy of the app in its own account.
Providing the app prototype an other Team (Account)
You can make the created app available to another person as follows:
- Open the app in the portal and switch to the tab "Share".
- Select the "Private" mode.
- Add the desired person (eg the admin of your company) as a user.
- Click the small icon between the e-mail address and the X icon.
- Select "Can edit app" from the selection list.
- Save the changes by clicking "Save".
Accepting the invitation
The first invitation with "additional rights" is accepted - like a classic invitation - via the client.
You will receive a notification that you have been invited to an app and must accept it first. (Ensure that you are logged in to the client with the correct (corporate) account.)
Once the invitation is accepted, you can use this app.
With "additional rights" the app not only appears on the client but also in your portal. Subsequent invitations sent by this user no longer need to be explicitly accepted by you.
You can access apps for which you have additional rights by going to "Current team
and select the team that shares apps with you that you are allowed to edit.
Copying the app to your own account
If you open an app that is in the account of another user, you will find information about the usage rights you have at the bottom of the browser.
You can now edit and save this app or copy it to your own account.
The complete app with all static data (images, spreadsheets, etc.) will be copied and a new app with the exact same data will be created. The new app will be opened after a successful duplication. Any changes you make afterward to one of the copies will not affect the other one.
- Switch to the other team and open the app.
- Click the "Copy" button in the upper right corner.
- Confirm with "OK".
The copy you just created is now completely in your (company) account and can be managed by you. This app can now be used as the official version of the app.
The original creator of the app does not have access to the copy.
Copying an app to an Enterprise Team
For this you need the role Creator or Team Admin in a team with an Enterprise license.
- Switch to the your team and open the app.
- Click the "Copy" button in the upper right corner.
- Select the Enterprise Team
- Confirm with "Yes"
The copy you just created is now completely in the Enterprise Team and can be managed by you and all Admins.
