Reading the values directly in the column or along the line in a chart is usually helpful to get a quick overview. But what if the diagram contains so much data that the labels with the values do not meet their purpose anymore?
Depending on the diagram type, the "data markers" are activated or deactivated by default. You can change this setting by yourself.
It is possible to remove the numerical values in every type of chart.
This setting is set by the definition showdatamarker=true;
- for "on" and showdatamarker=false;
- for "off". To do this.
- Click on the chart to edit.
- Under the "Main" tab, enable (or disable) the "Show Data Marker" button.
- Save the changes.
