Hi Paulo! So you click on the map within your Open as App tool and then the error appears? Can you please add a screenshot of the error message? Which device are you using? Does Google Maps work properly on your device if you start in from your home screen?

Hello Damian, in my app created in openasapp I use a map, when I try to pick up a point from the map, to drive to that point, usually the app send me to the Google maps... But now its not possible. I use a, Samsung note S20. And that problem exist also in the other users of the app I created. My Google maps works properly on my device, when I use it. Thanks

Thank you for the feedback. I tested on few devices and was not able to reproduce it, so can you please let me know if this is your flow?

    1. open map
    2. tap on pin
    3. tap on Google Maps icon

At this point you should be redirected to Google Maps. Could you please paste a screenshot (or recording) of the error message you receive?

Did the error show up after updating Open as App on your device?

    Hey Ines,

currently I can only reproduce the error if I deactivate Maps on my Android phone. Can you please check if Maps has been enabled, Apps & notifications -> App Info ->MAPs.

If it has been deactivated, it looks like this.

Then you just need to enable it.

However, if it is activated for on your device, please send us a message at support@openasapp.com. In the message we need to know which device you are using, the operating system and which Open as App version you are using.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kaspar

I faced this same problem and after looking up the internet, I believe this is a Android 11 issue. My app is able to open Maps (ver11.5.1) externally for directions on a Android 9 device. But my other Android 11 devices with same Google Maps ver11.5.1 will give this error prompt.

I found info about a solution suggesting to add the Google Maps package "com.google.android.apps.maps" as an entry in AndroidManifest.xml <queries> entry, which is not something I can do on my end.

The info is found in this URL:

    https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/google-maps-is-not-installed-or-is-disabled-android-11.133934/

I hope this issue will be solved soon. I am using OAP version 1.91(Build 1107).
